Brochure: Chasedesigngroup.com

ImageI choose the Chase Design Group webpage not only because Margo Chase is one of the designers that I look up to, but because I absolutely love their page. The first page you see is simply gorgeous, showing snippets of their work that gets rotated every once in a while to get a feel of what they do. It also include a section of their actual work, with the brands that they have worked with, along with specific sections such as packaging, branding, logos, etc.
ImageThey also include an About tab, which I think is fabulous. It includes the philosophy about the agency, the design process that they follow, the clients that they have and one of my favorite parts of the website, their People sub tab in which you can click the above image to choose a person and read more about them and the role they have on the agency.
ImageThe last two tabs are News and Contact, which I think is a nice touch. Basically, their site is so crisp and clean. It appeals to me and I'm sure it appeals to clients who know what they want and know that they can produce exactly that.

E Commerce: Thinkgeek.com

ImageThink Geek has been one of my favorite online shopping websites for about two years now. It is mostly due to the interesting type of products that they sell for the techie or as the website name puts it, "geeks". I love technology, I especially love gadgets. So this as well as vat19 have been one of my recent favorites!Image

Community: JasmineBlu

ImageNow April's (commonly known as Jasmineblu online) is one of my favorite people to keep up on. I first found out about her through a magazine and thought she came off as really nice and cute with a good sense of fashion. Which says a lot about me since I don't like fashion or girly things at all! But she makes it look so nice and interesting that I can't go a few weeks without seeing what new things are on her site. On her website, she has all type of things posted. From Personal posts, to tips on not only fashion, but DIY, things you can do at home or when you go out, tips about life, how to be healthy and happy, and websites or places that are good to go to. My favorite are her reviews, her tips about various things and places or websites that she knows or found out about and shares for other to experience it too themselves. Plus, seeing how nice she is and her actually interacting, talking and listening to those who contact her through the site and taking suggestions is really nice. I believe she has made herself a nice little community where people can talk to her, interact with her or talk to other people who like the same things as she does, whether its her or her style or whatever she writes about. It's just a really nice place to go to and learn new things and talk to likeminded people. Definitely one of my favorites!
Here are a few samples about her recent posts about different things:

Dictionary/Reference: Serebii.net

ImageSerebii is just one of those sites that I go to when I need some sort of definition or quick info, particularly about the Pokemon world. This site alone has everything that I need. Whether its a specific item, move, location or Pokemon information, it's all here! ImageAlthough the site could use some updating, seeing that it's not the most visually appealing. It does it's job. There is a search bar, important information at the start up page, and a sidebar that has all the information organized in sections so that it's easy to access. All the information that I need is all here! And that's all that I need.

Web Application: iCloud.com

ImageNow iCloud is one of those things that make me love Apple that much more. iCloud has always been a place where everything that you have saved on your iPhone, iPad, Macbook or iMac can be easily accessible on the web, anywhere you go. Simply go to iCloud.com on any web browser, sign in using your Apple ID, and viola. Everything is right at your fingertips. From your email to your contacts, calendar, notes, reminders and so much more! You could even find your device in case you misplaced it or lost it right on your browser and make it either make a sound for you to know where it is, erase all its data, lock it, or even just see exactly where it is on a map. But recently, it has added a new web feature. Apple has the equivalent of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint in the form of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Now, they are online as well right on iCloud. Simply log in, start your work, stop and continue at any time in any place and device, and access it anywhere. Not only does it have a gorgeous, crisp dashboard, but it also lets you access all your content in all your devices.Image

Mobile App: Candy Crush

ImageNow Candy Crush is a game that can be played in various different places. On the web, as a game in a social media like Facebook, and even on your phone or tablet. That is what I love about it. You can be on your computer at home, on your social media and even on the go with this. A perfect game and app to pass the time when you need it.

Content Management: Photobucket.com

ImagePhotobucket has been one of my favorite content management site since as long as I can remember. In order to not take up space on my computer, I upload and organize all my images into these little libraries and sub libraries where everything is easily accessible and viewable. ImageNot only that, but you can edit pictures on the site. You can share them and get the link to it in various different codings. It is a site where I can upload and do everything that I want one one site without having to open another web page or an application. Image
